Home Video: 2023 Nurokdo House Repair
2023년 전라남도 진도군 눌옥도에서 다솜둥지복지재단과 영남대학교가 진행한 집고쳐주기 봉사활동의 기록이다. 건축학도들이 도서 지역의 노후된 주거 환경을 개선하는 일련의 과정을 담았다.
전형적인 홍보 영상의 규격화된 형식을 탈피하고자 했다. 참여자들의 시선에서 바라본 현장의 생생한 분위기를 전달하기 위해 휴대폰를 활용한 홈 비디오들을 모아서 편집했다. 거친 화질과 흔들리는 앵글을 통해 육체 노동의 고단함, 현장의 변수, 그리고 학생들 간의 연대 과정을 가감 없이 철저히 주관적 시선들로 기록했다.
This is a documentary video recording the 'Hope House Repair' volunteer project held in Nurokdo, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do in 2023. It captures the chronological process of architecture students improving the aging residential environment in a remote island area.
The production deliberately departed from the standardized format of typical institutional promotional videos. To convey the vivid, on-site atmosphere from the participants' perspective, it was directed in a home video style using a camcorder. The focus was on objectively documenting the physical exhaustion of labor, on-site variables, and the solidarity among students without filtering, utilizing raw image quality and handheld angles.
